This policy explains how Built Before Bought, operating as Built Before Bought (“we,” “us”), handles information through this website and its inquiry process.
What we collect
When you request a concept, we collect your name, business name, website address, email, primary goal, selected plan if supplied, project context, and your consent to be contacted. General inquiries collect your name, email, and message. We record a request reference, submission time, review status, and email processing records.
Our application uses a keyed hash of your network address to limit repeated submissions. Those rate-limit records expire after an hour and are removed on subsequent submissions. Hosting and email providers may process network addresses, request logs, message metadata, and delivery events for operation, security, and troubleshooting. Do not send passwords, payment details, health information, or other sensitive information through these forms.
How we use information
We use it to respond to you, assess project fit, prepare requested work, manage follow-up, prevent abuse, maintain security, and meet applicable obligations. Requesting a concept does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We send acknowledgment and request-related messages; you can ask us to close your inquiry at any time.
Who receives it
Information is available to the people responsible for reviewing and delivering your request and to service providers needed to operate the website, store requests, and send messages: Vercel hosts the website, Supabase stores requests, and Web3Forms delivers the notification email to our team when you submit a form. When live email is enabled, Resend processes acknowledgment emails. These providers may process data in countries other than your own. We may also disclose information when required by law, to address misuse or protect rights, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell inquiry information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not currently use advertising pixels, third-party analytics, or nonessential tracking cookies. Form submission does not require an advertising identifier. We do not use automated email engagement tracking in the application. If we introduce optional analytics or marketing technologies, we will update this policy and provide any required choices before enabling them.
Retention and security
We keep inquiry records while assessing or discussing a project and for reasonable follow-up, recordkeeping, security, and dispute-resolution needs. We review inactive inquiries for deletion when they are no longer needed. Client agreements and records may need longer retention for contractual, accounting, or legal purposes. Deletion from active systems may precede deletion from backups or service-provider records.
We restrict access and use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information. No system is completely secure. Please contact us if you believe your information has been exposed or misused.
Your choices and requests
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your inquiry information, or ask us to stop following up. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, including rights to object, restrict processing, receive a copy, appeal a decision, or contact a regulator. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where an exception or legal obligation applies. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

Children and third-party websites
Our services are intended for business representatives, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information. External websites have their own privacy practices.
Changes
We will update the date above when this policy changes and provide additional notice where required for material changes. A separate client agreement may address data processed while delivering paid services.
